Privacy Policy

What we collect

PWA Directory is a public catalog of Progressive Web Apps. Browsing the directory requires no account and no personal information. We run no advertising trackers, set no advertising cookie, and never sell or share visitor data. Product analytics go through PostHog in cookieless mode; payments through Stripe; transactional email through Resend and Cloudflare. The only cookie set is Cloudflare's strictly-necessary security cookie.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Contabo + Cloudflare) records standard web server access logs — source IP, request path, timestamp, user-agent. These logs are kept for up to 14 days for operational troubleshooting and security (abuse detection, rate limiting) and are never shared with third parties. One exception, stated plainly: if you arrived here from a link in an email we sent you, that link carries a short reference (?e=) that tells us the visit came from that email. It is the only case in which a log line can be connected to a person; we use it to know whether our emails are worth sending, and you can ask us to delete it.

External links

The directory links out to PWAs hosted by third parties. Once you leave pwa.directory we have no visibility into what those sites do. Each linked PWA has its own privacy policy — check it before granting permissions or signing up.

Your rights (GDPR)

Browsing the directory collects no personal information. If we emailed you and you followed that link, we hold the address we wrote to — taken from a public source, named in that email — and the record of that visit; you can ask to access, rectify, export or delete it. If you believe a specific server log entry contains information you want removed, email [email protected] with enough detail to locate it.

Changes to this policy

If we start collecting additional data (e.g. accounts for submitting new PWAs, analytics, paid listings) we will update this page and announce the change on the homepage at least 14 days before it takes effect.
